SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

With a grape growing history that dates back to the Gold Rush era, San Joaquin's most notable appellation, Lodi, is renowned for its old-vine Zinfandel. Nestled in California's hot-climate Central Valley, Lodi is home to rich, fertile soils and sun-drenched vines. Zinfandel grapes get the substantial heat they need here to develop their distinct flavors.

Our winemakers take full advantage of the lush wines that Lodi's mature, warm-climate vines produce, by blending San Joaquin grapes with fruit from the Dry Creek Valley's "Zin Zone" to craft our Ghost Pines Zinfandel.
